Following the demise of David Lynch, longtime collaborator and good friend Kyle MacLachlan has paid tribute to the late filmmaker and artist. In an Instagram publish, the actor credited Lynch for jumpstarting his profession and praised the director’s singular expertise.
“Forty-two years in the past, for causes past my comprehension, David Lynch plucked me out of obscurity to star in his first and final huge finances film [Dune],” MacLachlan started. “He clearly noticed one thing in me that even I didn’t acknowledge. I owe my total profession, and life actually, to his imaginative and prescient.”
He continued by describing Lynch as an “enigmatic and intuitive man” who had “a inventive ocean bursting forth inside him” and was “in contact with one thing the remainder of us want we may get to.”
