The Wiggles have issued a statement after facing backlash over a TikTok video featuring the beloved children’s entertainers dancing alongside Australian musician Keli Holiday to his song “Ecstasy,” which some parents accused of promoting drug use.
In the video posted by Keli Holiday, Blue Wiggle Anthony Field and The Tree of Wisdom, played by Field’s nephew Dominic, are seen dancing behind Holiday as his new song “Ecstasy” plays. The song’s chorus includes the lyric, “Hey girl, come on dance with me. You and your pocket full of ecstasy”

The video, posted shortly after Holiday appeared onstage with the two Wiggle characters at the 2025 TikTok Awards on Nov. 26, prompted The Wiggles to release a statement clarifying that they do not “support or condone the use of drugs in any form.”

In the statement from their spokesperson, the group explained that the video was made without their approval. “We understand that a video circulating on social media has caused concern for many parents and professionals, and we want to address that directly,” said the spokesperson. “The Wiggles do not support or condone the use of drugs in any form. The content being shared was not created or approved by us, and we have asked for it to be removed.”
After clarifying that the music had been added to the clip after the fact, the group reaffirmed its commitment to remaining family-friendly.
“We deeply value the confidence families place in us, and we remain committed to creating safe, positive, and educational experiences for children and families in Australia and around the world,” they said.
The Wiggles come to North America next summer for a 13-day trek called the “Tree of Wisdom Spectacular Tour.” The tour kicks off in Orlando and includes stops in Atlanta, New York, and Boston.
