Jack White delivered a feast of rock ‘n’ roll with a side of hip-hop courtesy of Eminem during the Detroit Lions-Green Bay Packers’ Thanksgiving Day game.
Detroit’s favorite son returned home to headline the halftime show, unleashing a searing set that opened with “That’s How I’m Feeling” from his latest solo album, No Name. Eminem, who produced the show and handpicked White as its headliner, next made a surprise appearance for a live mashup of “‘Till I Collapse” and The White Stripes’ “Hello Operator.” White then brought it all home with a fitting finale: “Seven Nation Army,” the now-ubiquitous stadium anthem that’s echoed across the NFL for more than a decade.
