As we enter the festive months, many horror fans are going to be flocking to the best Christmas horror movies they can find to fill up their watch list. In December, Shudder is catering to the demand for festive-themed horror. This includes special episodes of some of their hit shows, including Dragula, The Creep Tapes, and The Last Drive In. The platform is also adding a few classics at the start of the month, including Silent Night, Deadly Night, Santa’s Slay, and A Christmas Tale.

Of course, there is only so much room for holiday-themed horrors, and Shudder is also streaming a great lineup of originals and new titles. Notably, the heavy hitters for December are three new features that should be at the top of the to-watch list, including the debut feature film from Tina Romero, daughter of the legendary George A. Romero (it is a zombie flick, too!). Here are the best movies coming to Shudder for December 2025. Below is a complete list of TV shows and movies, and when they will be available.

‘Reflection in a Dead Diamond’ (2025)

Available To Stream on December 5

Retired spy, John Diman (Fabio Testi), is living out his ’50s in an idyllic, luxury hotel on the Côte d’Azur. During his stay, he becomes infatuated with his neighbor, but after she disappears, the event leads him into a series of flashbacks to his younger self (Yannick Renier). Brought back into the ’60s, where he was a dashing young spy, he confronted various villains. John struggles to distinguish between the visions of the past and his current status.

Directors Hélène Cattet and Bruno Forzani are known for creating visually rich experiences that pay homage to cult European cinema, such as “Giallo.” Their previous work, such as Amer and Let the Corpses Tan, has earned them a cult following, and this time the duo looks to blend the sleek retro spy movies of the ’60s with stylish crime-driven horror. Not just an homage, the duo is known to reinvent, capturing the spirit of a beloved era of cinema and making it their own.

    ‘Influencers’ (2025)

Available To Stream on December 12

CW (Cassandra Naud) and her partner, Diane (Lisa Delamar), are celebrating their first anniversary in a Sunny getaway location on the south side of France. Yet, the arrival of a charming influencer, Charlotte (Georgina Campbell), puts pressure on their relationship as she takes a liking to Diane. This incident has CW recalling her past, riddled with secrets she tried to hide, and causes her to spiral and begin to give in to violent tendencies.

Influencers is a spiritual sequel to Kurtis David Harder’s 2022 film Influencer; you don’t need to see the first to check out the new film. The movie is sure to capture the dark side of social media and influencer culture based on Harder’s past work. The beautiful setting of France further offers a picturesque contrast to the chaos that is going to ensue, as CW begins her spiral into violence and madness. If you loved 2022’s Influencer, the follow-up is essential viewing; if you have not seen it yet, it is also available on Shudder.

    ‘Queens of the Dead’ (2025)

Available To Stream on December 19

Looking to carry on the legacy of genre-defying horror, Tina Romero offers a socially conscious take on zombies. Here, the zombie apocalypse descends on the partygoers at a massive New York drag party. Party promoter Dre (Katy O’Brian) and club kid Sam (Jaquel Spivey) become unlikely allies in leading a diverse group of survivors to safety, fighting them off with improvised weapons and leaning on each other to stay sane during the bloody chaos.

There is significant pressure on Tina Romero with her new film, given the legacy she is following. Still, the film’s campy approach and focus on representation are sure to have many bopping to the beat of the undead as a ragtag group fights their way through zombies at an invaded dance party. Fans of RuPaul’s Drag Race will also be thrilled to see Nina West in a notable role here. The movie currently has an 88% “fresh” score on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 51 reviews, helping build early buzz for the film.
