KISS plugged in for their second “Unmasked” set during the KISS Kruise: Landlocked in Vegas event this past weekend, and former guitarist Bruce Kulick made an appearance.
As previously reported, the full lineup — Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Tommy Thayer, and Eric Singer — performed an acoustic “Unmasked” set on Friday. The group paid tribute to the late Ace Frehley during the gig, running through an 11-song set.
KISS then took the stage the following night — once again sans makeup — for the electric set that was also billed for the Sin City event — a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the KISS Army.

Aside from “Love Her All I Can,” which was repeated, the band played a different 16-song setlist on Saturday with faster and heavier numbers like opener “Duece,” Frehley’s classic “Cold Gin,” “Detroit Rock City,” “Shout It Out Loud,” and other staple cuts from the KISS catalog.
The hit-centric set closed with an appearance by guitarist Bruce Kulick, the band’s axeman from 1984 through 1996, for a one-two of “Lick It Up” and “Rock and Roll All Nite.”
Kulick’s participation is an encouraging development after he wasn’t invited to perform during KISS’ touring finale at Madison Square Garden in 2023. In a YouTube interview in May, Kulick admitted that he was “very verbal about the final show” and that he “didn’t feel they handled that right,” though it would appear to be water under the bridge after his appearance this weekend.
