Metallica’s Kirk Hammett and Gibson have unveiled their latest collaboration, the Raven signature model acoustic guitar.
This striking variation on the Gibson Hummingbird is limited to just 100 worldwide, making it a highly collectible entry in Hammett’s ongoing line of Gibson signature models. As of this article, the guitar — which retails for a $4,999 — appears to already be out of stock on Gibson’s website, though it is currently for sale on Reverb.

Sharing the Hummingbird’s square-shoulder silhouette, Hammett’s Raven features “a dark, artistic twist on the Hummingbird aesthetic” with its Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides, which are supported by traditional scalloped Advanced X-bracing. Each was handcrafted in Bozeman, Montana, and personally signed by Kirk Hammett on the soundhole label.

Electronically, the Raven is equipped with an L.R. Baggs Element VTC +4 system. Hardware includes Grover Rotomatic tuners and TUSQ components including the nut, saddle, and bridge pins.
