Larry David appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers on Tuesday Night to promote a new book on the history of Curb Your Enthusiasm. He just wants to you know he put absolutely no work into it.
“Did you enjoy working on this book?” Meyers asked David, referring to No Lessons Learned: The Making of Curb Your Enthusiasm. “I didn’t really work on it,” David replied. When the audience broke into applause, he shot back, “What are you dopes applauding about? I didn’t work on it—so what?”
Meyers followed up: “It says as told by Larry David. So you just talked?” “Someone worked very hard,” David deadpanned. “Not me. I didn’t work on it at all.”
