HAIM have shared a new song, “Tie you down,” featuring Bon Iver.
It’s one of three new tracks taken from the deluxe edition of the trio’s latest full-length effort, I quit, which is set to drop next Friday, October 17th. With warm harmonies between Danielle Haim and Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon, “Tie you down” is a lush, comforting tune about wanting someone to stay in a relationship but feeling uneasy about tying them down. It’s a fitting collaboration, as Danielle also guested on Bon Iver’s recent starry-eyed cut “If Only I Could Wait.” earlier this year. Stream “Tie you down” below.
In addition to “Tie you down,” the deluxe version of I quit will also feature new songs “The story of us” and “Even the bad times.” All three tracks were produced by regular collaborator Rostam. HAIM will also celebrate the deluxe edition of their new album with an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Tuesday, October 14th.
