While I’m having a hard time figuring out James LeBaigue’s “Olivvia”, one thing’s for sure – there’s something about this track. What seems like an off-kilter intimate confession accompanied by a few minimalistic, but powerful acoustic guitar chords ends up being a full-blown anthem that has a strong Bon Iver For Emma, Forever Ago vibe.
James LeBaigue seems like an enigma with little to no information about the British artist on the Internet, but honestly – music is so refreshingly beautiful, I don’t need anything else. I highly recommend checking out his brand-new sophomore album RIDGLEY, which features today’s spotlight, “Olivvia”.
