Rajinikanth reunited with Sun Pictures for the fifth time for Coolie. Unfortunately, Lokesh Kanagaraj’s directorial work could not live up to the expectations of the masses. It turned out to be a losing affair at the Indian box office. Even the Hindi-dubbed version failed to mint big numbers. Still, there was an anticipation for the Hindi version’s OTT release and finally, it is streaming online.
Coolie Hindi OTT release
As most know, Coolie premiered on September 11, 2025, on Amazon Prime Video in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages. For South versions, there was an OTT window of four weeks. However, for the Hindi-dubbed version, there was a longer OTT window.
Since Coolie was released in national cinema chains (PVR Inox and Cinepolis) in the Hindi belt, it had an OTT window of 8 weeks, meaning it was scheduled to arrive on OTT 56 days after its theatrical run. As per the scheduled window, it premiered at 12:00 a.m. IST on October 9.
Where to watch Coolie online in Hindi?
Like the other versions, Coolie (Hindi) premiered on Amazon Prime Video. Hopefully, after an underwhelming run in theatres, Lokesh Kanagaraj’s directorial will redeem itself with staggering views on OTT.

At the Hindi box office, Coolie is the highest-grossing film of Rajinikanth in the post-COVID era. It raked in 37.25 crore net, leaving Jailer (7.24 crores) way behind.
