David Ketchum, who performed the continuously uncomfortable Agent 13 on the basic ’60s comedy Get Good, has died at 97.
Ketchum, born in 1928, was a comic earlier than becoming a member of Mel Brooks‘ well-known spy sitcom; after beginning in radio, he turned a daily on Steve Allen‘s exhibits, and launched a solo comedy album in 1962. After roles on the exhibits I’m Dickens, He’s Fenster and Camp Runamuck, he joined the spy spoof in its second season, taking part in Agent 13, a personality who was continuously discovered hiding in uncomfortable spots like bathrooms, couches, and mailboxes.
