Norah O’Donnell has introduced when she is going to depart the CBS Night Information anchor chair. Her final broadcast will air on January twenty fourth. She took over the anchor desk for the information program in July 2019.
O’Donnell introduced her departure from the nightly information program in July, and she or he stated the next in a memo to CBS Information workers, in accordance with Deadline:
“It’s time to do one thing completely different. This presidential election can be my seventh as a journalist, and for many people on this enterprise we have a tendency to have a look at our careers by way of these milestone occasions.”
She plans to stay with CBS Information as a senior correspondent, conducting high-profile sit-down interviews. Beginning January twenty seventh, John Dickerson and Maurice DuBois will take over the anchor desk for the CBS Night Information.
