Khalid is among the greatest R&B/pop artists within the music business. On Friday (Nov. 22), the multi-platinum recording artist was outed for being homosexual by a disgruntled ex-partner on social media. The “Location” singer responded to the claims by confirming that he is part of the LGBTQ+ group.
In an emotional since-deleted submit, a former companion of Khalid shared, “I used to be courting this dumb a** singer he’s ugly as f**okay however he tried to set me up and lie and say I broke into his home as a result of I broke up with him like why would I am going to your home and do all that if I broke up with you dumb a**!”
He adopted the submit exclaiming, “B**ch a** lied and mentioned that I broke into his home trigger I didn’t need him,” with an image of the acclaimed musician. In response to the posts, Khalid tweeted a rainbow flag emoji together with, “there yall go. Subsequent matter please lol.” He adopted the submit saying, “I received outted and the world continues to show. Let’s get this straight (lmao) I’m not ashamed of my sexuality! In actuality it ain’t nobodies enterprise! I’m okay with me, love yall.”
In response to a fan alluding to the truth that it was no secret that he was homosexual, he confirmed, “I wasn’t hiding something! It’s simply not any of what you are promoting.” Khalid was very clear that he was by no means seeking to cover his sexuality, he simply didn’t imagine it was one thing he owed to his followers to share.
