It’s trying like one other surgical summer season, as Pusha T has dissed Travis Scott on Clipse’s new tune “So Be It.” The monitor is the most recent preview of Clipse’s upcoming reunion album, Let God Kind Em Out. Stream it beneath.
“So Be It” is anchored by a sinister, Center Jap-inspired string pattern and options Pusha T and Malice’s signature tales of drug dealing and unique wealth — till the ultimate verse, when Push takes purpose at his former GOOD Music labelmate, Travis Scott.

“You cried in entrance of me, you died in entrance of me,” Push raps. “Calabasas took your bitch and your pleasure in entrance of me/ Heard Utopia had moved proper up the road/ And her lip gloss was poppin’, she ain’t want you to eat.”

Whereas Pusha T doesn’t name out Travis by title, mentioning Utopia and an ex-girlfriend whose “lip gloss was poppin’” are thinly veiled references to Scott’s most up-to-date album and Kylie Jenner, the mom of his two kids and a cosmetics mogul.
In an interview with GQ, Pusha T broke down his points with Travis, which stem from Scott’s 2023 tune “Meltdown” that includes Push’s rival Drake. On the monitor, Drake raps that he would “soften down the chains that I purchased out of your boss,” a reference to jewellery that Drake purchased from Pharrell Williams.
“The true context of that’s we have been in Paris, actually working, and [Travis] was calling to play P[harrell] his new album,” Push informed GQ. “He sees me and [Malice] there. He’s like, ‘Oh, man, everyone’s right here,’ he’s smiling, laughing, leaping round, doing his fucking monkey dance. We weren’t into the music, however he wished to play it, wished to movie [us and Pharrell listening to it]. After which per week later you hear ‘Meltdown,’ which he didn’t play. He performed the tune, however not [Drake’s verse].”
What actually irks Pusha T, nevertheless, is what he describes as Travis’ tendency to “leap round no matter he feels is scorching or cling onto no matter he feels is scorching,” citing Scott’s fairweather help of his former mentor Kanye West and Drake himself.
