Deftones singer Chino Moreno’s remix of the The Remedy’s “Warsong” has been unveiled upfront of the upcoming album Remixes of a Misplaced World, set for launch on June thirteenth.
As beforehand reported, Remixes of a Misplaced World options new mixes of the tracks on The Remedy’s most up-to-date studio album, 2024’s Songs of a Misplaced World, by the likes of Moreno, Mogwai, 4 Tet, Orbital, Paul Oakenfold, and others. Now, Moreno’s mixture of “Warsong” has been launched, with the Deftones frontman stating, “I selected ‘Warsong’ to remix because it’s a type of slow-building, brooding musical items which have at all times drawn me into The Remedy’s music.”
