Rod Stewart has mentioned he’s contemplating promoting his assortment of 5 sports activities vehicles as a result of worsening potholes close to his dwelling in Harlow, Essex.
“I’m extraordinarily lucky and eternally grateful to be the proprietor of those 5 lovely hybrid sports activities vehicles, which, in my view, are true ‘artistic endeavors,’” Stewart wrote on Instagram. “Sadly, due to the potholes on our roads, I could have to seek out new house owners for them.”

He continued, “I’ve been driving these iconic Italian vehicles because the seventies, and I completely love and adore them. This publish is for my followers — thanks, as you’re the sole purpose I personal them. 🤩 And to all of the trolls… don’t hassle; I by no means learn the feedback.”
A spokesperson for the Essex County Council (by way of BBC) has addressed Stewart’s issues by saying, “An extra £37 million is being invested to handle potholes and perform bigger scale works, like resurfacing and vegetation clearance, via our precedence one program. Because of this, extra potholes across the county are being mounted, so Sir Rod can be a part of different Essex residents crusing alongside our roads.”
Stewart beforehand criticized the state of native roads in 2022 by sharing a video of him filling in holes close to his dwelling as a result of “nobody may be bothered to do it.” He added, “That is the state of the street close to the place I stay in Harlow and it’s been like this for ages… So me and the boys thought we’d come and do it ourselves.”
