For their alternate version of “Caught Up”, 53 Thieves have incorporated a housey feel into their music, giving the track a fresh groove that feels perfect for late-night drives and the dancefloor.
After taking a year-long break from releasing music, 53 Thieves made their return with the arrival of their 2025 No Ocean EP. Here we’re acquainted with their signature sound, and their sonic evolution through their new found influences. Silk-like vocals take center stage on “Caught Up”(Alternate) while the instrumental offers a multi-colored experience thanks to the bright synths and the soothing guitar arrangements. In many ways, this reminds me of Poolside and Satin Jackets, and so I would love to hear 53 Thieves venture more into this direction!
