It’s time to throw up some thumbs and reunite with some friends as one of the greatest sitcoms of all time is all set for a long-awaited revival. Bringing beloved and long-finished comedy shows has become something of a trend in recent years, with the likes of Frasier, King of the Hill, and more having returned to our screens decades after they first began and subsequently ended.
Now, it’s time for The Inbetweeners to make their triumphant return, as the “Pussay Patrol” will once again strut their stuff some 17 years after the beloved British series first started. According to a report by Deadline, a deal has been “struck by Banijay UK and Fudge Park Productions,” meaning that the gang will be back for more pathetically familiar chaos and gloriously creative foul-mouthed banter.
Further details of exactly what sort of shape The Inbetweeners revival will take remain under wraps at present, but the report states that it could be either a movie or TV series, with a stage iteration also being “considered.”
More to come…
